The Bengals won in overtime, but coaches say the defense has tackling fixes to make

If you winced at the Bengals' defense in Sunday's overtime win over the Titans, the coaches did too. Tony Pollard's first-quarter touchdown run drew the word "inexcusable" from Zac Taylor for the missed tackles on it. Defensive coordinator Al Golden said, "That starts with me."

Golden said playing Josh Newton over Dax Hill at times was designed rotation, mostly on third downs in the slot. Then D.J. Turner left in the fourth quarter with a heel injury.
