Artist in Residence at the CAC: Orion Inez

About this event

"I may be small, but I am mightier than I appear" Join us Saturdays at the CAC from 1-3PM and Wednesdays at the Downtown Public Library from 4-6PM for our Artist-in-Residence program with artist Orion Inez! "Pocket-Sized" is a residency about character design and comic making, inspired by Orion's original Star Guy character. In this series of public workshops, guests can make their own "little guys," through drawing and trinket-making, in addition to learning about comics and how to make them. About Orion: Orion Inez is a freelance illustrator and visual artist based in Cincinnati. They graduated with a BFA from DAAP at the University of Cincinnati, with certificates in Creative Writing and Animation. They have created work for FC Cincinnati, 1001 Colors (formerly ArtWorks), Redtree Cafe, and more. If they're not working on their next big project or art market, they're reading, weight lifting, or walking around outside hoping to see the street cats in their neighborhood Location 44 E 6th St 44 E 6th St Cincinnati, OH 45202
