EVENT DETAILS: The holiday season brings festive meals and family gatherings, but many traditional holiday foods can pose serious health risks to pets. Led by Dr. Katy Miller, a veterinarian and board-certified companion animal nutritionist, this class guides pet owners on how to safely include dogs and cats in holiday celebrations while protecting them from dietary hazards. Participants will learn how to prepare pet-friendly holiday plates using plain, boneless foods, distinguish safe treats from toxic holiday staples, and implement practical preventative strategies for holiday gatherings. The session also details high-risk ingredients (such as grapes, chocolate, xylitol, and raw yeast dough) and provides step-by-step guidance on what to do if accidental exposure occurs.

Have questions for the expert? You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and get personalized advice from Dr. Katy Miller at our Live Q+A at the end of the presentation.

Can't attend the class? You will still receive the recording if you register. Sign up today at: https://hfu.hollywoodfeed.com/live-event-page/paws-off-the-platter-navigating-holiday-food-safety-for-pets/
